Episode summary
DCI Gill Murray and DC Rachel Bailey travel to Bristol to assist in the murder investigation of Yasmin Heaney. The case has many similarities to a series of murders for which Jeremy Leach was convicted some 13 years ago. Leach has always maintained his innocence and in an interview with Bailey points the finger at his solicitor's son as the likely killer. Rachel thinks that Leach has made a compelling argument but Murray thinks it's all a fabrication and perhaps something Leach has cooked up with someone so as to get out of prison. After a second killing Murray suggests they should look at the two cases through a different lens to see what might be different from the murders 13 years ago and if anything might match evidence in other sexual offender cases. Meanwhile, Rachel is growing increasingly worried about her brother.
